About

Who we are?

Founded by Mary Jay as a distributor of African print fabrics, she is a graduate of Regenesys Business School, holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PDBM), and has completed a short course in dressmaking and fashion design from Villioti Fashion Institute in South Africa. As the chief creative mind behind every TAE garment, Mary Jay significantly shaped the brand.

In 2018, TAE underwent a transformative shift, transitioning from an African print distributor to a seller of ready-to-wear imported shoes and accessories, giving rise to the brand Koko Diva – the holding company. During the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic, as imports became an issue, a strategic decision was made to design bespoke and ready-made clothing and accessories to preserve TAE’s distinct creative energy and signature brand synergy. In 2021, we were approached by Regenesys Business School to assist in manufacturing Graduation Regalia, and since then, this has become an extension of our brand.

The year 2021 has served as a true test of our passion and dedication to our brand, and we are determined to continue pushing forward to build our legacy.
